Members and roles

How Snapvisor team roles work - the team-level member and contributor levels, and the per-project admin, reviewer, and viewer roles.

Snapvisor access is two-tiered: a role on the team decides your reach across projects, and a role on each project decides what you can do inside it.

Team roles

Team owners manage the team and billing. Everyone else you invite gets a default team level:

  • Member — access to all of the team's projects.
  • Contributor — no project access by default; an admin adds them to specific projects.

The default level also applies to members synced in through SSO, so new joiners land with the reach you intend.

Project roles

Within a project, a contributor can be granted one of:

  • Admin — manage the project and its members.
  • Reviewer — see and review builds, approving or rejecting changes.
  • Viewer — see builds and screenshots, without reviewing.

Only a project admin can add contributors or change their level. Need to bring someone onto the team first? See how to invite someone.
