Beyond diffing screenshots in CI, Snapvisor can host static environments — like a Storybook build — on dedicated URLs so you can review them directly.
What a deployment is
Enable deployments on a project and each build's static output is served on its own Snapvisor URL. A deployment is marked Deployed, Deploying, or Failed, and is classified as a Production or Preview environment.
Configuring deployments
Run on a preview deployment
Run Playwright or Cypress against a Vercel preview URL from a GitHub Actions deployment_status workflow, and upload the screenshots to Snapvisor with the right branch and commit.
Environments
Choose which branches Snapvisor treats as production deployments versus previews, using a glob pattern on the branch name.
