Get the app

Review diffs in their own window.

Snapvisor installs as an app on macOS, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android. Same account, same builds — but its own icon, no browser chrome, and the bundle cached on the device.

Install

Every platform, three reasons each.

Your own device is listed first. Nothing here is a promise the app does not keep: no push notifications, no share sheet — just its own window, its own icon, and a bundle that is already on your machine.

macOS

  • Lives in your Dock and opens in its own window — Snapvisor gets a real app icon and its own ⌘-Tab entry instead of one more tab.
  • No tab strip, no address bar: the whole window height goes to the baseline and the change side by side.
  • Its bundle is cached on the machine, so it opens without re-downloading the app — and if the network drops you get a Snapvisor page, not the browser's error page.

Install it in three steps — it lands in your Dock and Launchpad.

  1. Open app.snapvisor.io in Chrome, Edge or Arc.
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar, or choose File → Install Snapvisor.
  3. Confirm. Snapvisor lands in your Applications folder and its icon in the Dock.

Windows

  • Pins to the taskbar and Start menu, and opens in its own window with its own Alt-Tab entry.
  • No tab strip, no address bar: the whole window height goes to the baseline and the change side by side.
  • Its bundle is cached on the machine, so it opens without re-downloading the app — and if the network drops you get a Snapvisor page, not the browser's error page.
Get it from Microsoft Store

iPhone and iPad

  • One tap from your Home Screen, with a real icon and its own card in the app switcher.
  • Runs full screen: Safari's address bar and toolbar are gone, so a diff on a phone is actually readable.
  • Its bundle is cached on the device, so it opens without re-downloading the app — and if the network drops you get a Snapvisor page, not Safari's error page.

Install it in three steps — it lands in your Home Screen.

  1. Open app.snapvisor.io in Safari — Chrome and Firefox on iOS cannot add to the Home Screen.
  2. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add. Snapvisor appears on your Home Screen.

Android

  • Sits on your home screen and in the app drawer, and opens in its own window with its own entry in Recents.
  • Runs full screen: Chrome's address bar is gone, so a diff on a phone is actually readable.
  • Its bundle is cached on the device, so it opens without re-downloading the app — and if the network drops you get a Snapvisor page, not Chrome's error page.

Install it in three steps — it lands in your home screen and app drawer.

  1. Open app.snapvisor.io in Chrome.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen (Chrome may offer an Install banner instead).
  3. Tap Install. Snapvisor appears on your home screen.

Questions

Installing, answered.

Not today. Snapvisor installs as a progressive web app on every platform — macOS, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android — from app.snapvisor.io. It is the same app, the same account and the same builds; it just gets its own icon and its own window. When a store listing goes live, its official badge appears on this page automatically.

Three things, all of them from the app's web manifest and service worker: Snapvisor opens in its own window with no browser chrome, it gets a real icon in your Dock, taskbar or home screen, and its bundle is cached on the device so it starts without re-downloading. Your data, your plan and your builds are identical either way.

Partly, and it is worth being precise: the app's own assets are cached on your device, so it opens fast without the network. Reviewing a build needs the network, because the screenshots and the diffs live on the server. With no connection you get a Snapvisor offline page rather than a browser error.

No. The installed app has no push notifications and no share-sheet integration today. Snapvisor notifies you through GitHub and GitLab status checks, Slack and email, which is where a pull-request review already happens.

Yes. Snapvisor runs a remote MCP server at https://mcp.snapvisor.io, so Claude Code, Cursor and any other MCP client can list builds, read screenshot diffs, approve or reject changes and post comments. MCP access is included on the Pro plan.

Exactly like any other app: drag it out of Applications on macOS, uninstall it from Start on Windows, or long-press the icon and remove it on iOS and Android. Nothing about your account changes, and app.snapvisor.io keeps working in the browser.
